Hello, and nice to meet you. My name is Susan Papiri and I am the fun-loving mom/gramma, tough detective, clever lawyer, ready for anything type. I am reliable (raised by a Marine) and focused, but I also know how to inject fun and humor into any situation. I enjoy the outdoors, but have also been known to read an entire book in one sitting on a rainy afternoon.
Biography
Susan was born in the small town of Carnegie, PA. At the age of 2, her family moved to Glendale, CA and she grew up in the same house until college, where she continued to study acting. She always wanted to perform, and took dance and singing classes, as well as attended workshops, going on auditions set by her agent, Don Schwartz, until the 1980’s. Fast-forward to doing community theater once her 2 daughters grew up, and working in the non-profit world, developing, producing and performing as the MC for the fundraising gala for Meals on Wheels Orange County. Susan is currently training at The Actors Room with Steven G. Lowe in advanced scene study, film/tv technique, marketing classes and script analysis. In her free time, she likes to travel, meet new people, discover new things, eat great food and entertain “amusing wines.” She also enjoys watching classic movies, playing games and laughing until she’s breathless.
